ClassVani stores account details (name, user ID, email), school membership, class links, messages, announcements, and photos you or the school upload so the app can work. We do not sell personal data.
Messages and class content are visible to the intended school roles (for example a teacher and a linked parent). Platform operators may access logs to keep the service secure and to fix faults. Uploads are stored on the school’s ClassVani deployment.
You can permanently delete your account in the app under Manage ? Profile ? Delete account. You can also ask the school or ClassVani operators to correct or delete your account. Parents should also ask the school to unlink a child if the family leaves. We keep security logs for a limited time.
This policy is meant to meet DPDP Act 2023 expectations for a school-comms product in India. Official exam boards (NTA including NEET and JEE Main, NMC, state CETs, College Board, ACT) are not affiliated with ClassVani exam-practice pages.
First-party usage analytics records pages visited, a visitor identifier, approximate city and country from the network when available (the IP itself is hashed, not stored), time on page, platform, and whether a signed-in member started or finished exam practice (counts only, not scores). Platform staff sessions and admin screens are excluded. Rows are kept about 90 days. We do not sell this data.
